Grass-fed Beef Sliders

Makes 6 sliders.

1 pound Chisholm Trail Grass-fed ground beef
Salt and pepper to taste
Dinner rolls
Burger toppings desired, including cheese, lettuce, tomatoes and condiments

If you have a griddle, heat it up to medium-high heat. You can also use a frying pan but just keep in mind you’ll only be able to do a few at a time since you will need to drain the fat often.

Form the ground beef into 2-oz. square patties and season both sides with salt and pepper or any other seasonings you would like.

Cook the burgers on the grill or in the pan for about four or five minutes, then flip and cook for an additional four to five minutes. This should result in an internal temperature of 160 degrees Fahrenheit, while is medium-well doneness. For a medium or medium-rare burger, cook the sliders for three to four minutes per side.

Remove the burgers from the heat; add cheese if desired. Allow them to rest while preparing buns and toppings.

Place the burgers on the buns and add any topping or condiments.
